FAQ

Q. What is relay?

A. Relay is a Christ-centered young adults ministry geared towards young adults ages 18-30. We are one of many ministries within World Harvest Church in Rice Lake, WI.

Q. How often do you have relay events?

A. Relay events are held on the LAST FRIDAY of every month. We also have spontaneous hangouts that you can learn about by being involved in a Relay cell group. For our event schedule and details about what Relay is doing this month, visit our Events page!

Q. Are Relay events free?

A. It’s our goal to offer the majority of our events for free; however, not all of them are free.

There are some events that will require payment. These events will explicitly state what is required of you financially to participate. We do hold fundraisers throughout the year to offset the cost of the more expensive events, and if you are ever unable to participate due to finances, contact us. We don’t want anyone to miss out on the fun!

Q. What is a relay cell?

A. A Relay Cell is much like a small group. Unlike traditional Bible studies, our cells combine worship, prayer, a relatable and relevant discussion (not a lecture), and a fun icebreaker all in a casual setting.

Q. What kind of cells do you have?

 A. At this time, we have three Relay cells changing the culture in Rice Lake, WI and in Eau Claire, WI. We have one cell for ladies, one for men, and our Eau Claire cell is co-ed! We have our mens and our ladies cells on Monday nights at 7:00pm in Rice Lake, and we have our co-ed cell on Thursdays at 7:00pm in Eau Claire.

Q. What is your cell structure?

A. At a typical cell, we start by going over the vision of the church that we partner with. From there, we’ll go into a lighthearted icebreaker to get to know each other, a time of worship, and a transformative discussion that is Bible-based and relevant to our generation. We may also have a time of ministry where we ask for prayer requests and pray together.
